🎉 Volunteer for First Night Northampton 2026 🎉

Celebrate the New Year and be part of Northampton’s biggest community tradition!

First Night is not only the city’s largest party — it’s also a major annual fundraiser for the Northampton Arts Council. We need dedicated volunteers to help make this cherished event possible.

What’s Involved

📅 Date: Wednesday, December 31, 2025

⏰ Shifts:

• 11:45 AM – 6:00 PM

• 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

We are also seeking a limited number of experienced site managers and volunteers available starting at 11:00 AM. If interested, please note this in the “preference” section of the form — your hours will be adjusted accordingly.

Your Role

• You’ll be stationed at a downtown performance venue, helping keep the event running smoothly.

• When you’re not on duty, you’re free to enjoy the festivities with your complimentary First Night button.

• Volunteers also get access to our private Volunteer Headquarters at Coldwell Banker Upton-Massamont Realtors, 112 Main Street, where you’ll find warmth, refreshments, and community.
